Draper Utah Travel and Real Estate
Draper is a city that's partially located in Utah County and Salt Lake County. It is a large suburban community located along interstate 15, about 30 miles south of Salt Lake City and surrounded by the Wasatch Mountains.
Draper has significant activity from major businesses. The city s home to the customer service center of E-commerce giant eBay, the tech call center of computer software company PGP Corporation, the call center of music retailer Musician's Friend, and the headquarters of 1-800 Contacts, a contact lens retailer. Additionally, Draper is home to the first Ikea (home products retailer) of Utah.
In 2006, the 57,000 square foot Draper Utah Temple broke ground and will become the 129th temple of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when its officially dedicated in spring of 2015.
There are multiple recreation facilities and parks in Draper including South Mountain Golf Course, Hidden Valley Golf Course, Draper City Park, East Ridge Park, Wetlands Park, and Andy Ballard Equestrian Center.
The downtown area of the city is located at Draper Peaks, which is the main shopping district.
Draper is home to Utah State Prison, which has housed several notorious inmates including Gary Gilmore and Ted Bundy.
